Freedom, jauntiness, and femininity: these are the basic pillars which the French brand Chloé was built on more than 60 years ago. The Chloé brand is an ethereal brand for romantic, elegant, dreamy women, and it is a unique, graceful jewel of the fashion world, with products designed by women particularly for women. The designs of the fashion house are especially characterised by the use of beige textiles, as well as decorations like bows, embroidered or simple pleats, and padlock symbols.
The Chloé fragrances also carry the house’s key characteristics in both appearance and fragrance: the bottle of the Chloé Signature line features bows and pleats suggesting a pleated-sleeved blouse motif, while the bottle of the Love Story line is shaped like a padlock, a symbol of eternal love. Besides, the bottle of Nomade, the fashion house’s latest fragrance line introduced in 2018, was inspired by Chloé’s iconic Drew bag, decorated with a suede ribbon.
By today Chloé has become synonymous with romantic and jaunty elegance, which is reflected in its accessories and perfumes, too.
A Chloé woman is natural, timelessly elegant, free-spirited, and open-minded, therefore, Chloé fragrances are the essence of a woman living in harmony with herself and with the world around her.
Gaby Aghion, an Egyptian-born Parisian designer created the Chloé brand after she had realised in the early 1950s that haute couture was not proper for street wear and, with her partner, designed a comfortable everyday ready-to-wear collection of wearable, unique, fashionable, and high-quality pieces.
The brand was growing in popularity and was admired by superstars such as Brigitte Bardot, Jackie Kennedy and Grace Kelly, Princess of Monaco.
Chloé is one of the few brands that focuses solely and exclusively on fragrances for Her.
