BOTTEGA VENETA

Bottega Veneta is the discreet luxury itself and the embodiment of sophisticated and self-confident style.
It has become world famous mainly for its luxury handbags, made from hand-braided leather using the so-called “intrecciato” (interlaced) technology.

Nowadays, the logos of various luxury brands have become prestigious, making the brand easily recognisable, but Bottega Veneta is perfectly recognisable for its high quality Italian handmade goods without using huge logos, which is why it is called the most discreet luxury brand in the world.

Bottega Veneta perfumes are made with premium natural ingredients from all corners of the world, such as bergamot from Italy, jasmine flowers from India, patchouli from Indonesia and rose pepper from Brazil.

The perfume bottles are designed with subtle simplicity and timeless beauty, which is in line with the brand image.

BOTTEGA VENETA values

Sophisticated and sensual. Bottega Veneta fragrances are made for those who are able to appreciate the tiny, fine vibrations of fashion and luxury which will not catch the attention of everyday people.

BOTTEGA VENETA history

The brand was established in 1966 by Michele Taddei and Renzo Zengiaro. Launching the first Bottega Veneta Signature fragrance in September 2011 founded the Bottega Veneta fragrance house. The first Pour Homme fragrance for Him was made by the vision of Tomas Maier, a talented German fashion designer, who was also the Creative Director of the brand until 2018. He is also renowned for the famous Cabat bag. Then, finally, in 2014, the Knot fragrance line was launched, inspired by the iconic clasp of their bag of the same name.

The next pillar had to be waited for 5 years, when the Illusione fragrance pair was released in 2019 with modern and stunning packaging. The clean-lined bottle design is a true reflection of Bottega Veneta’s unique style. The ingredients are enclosed in a heavy glass bottle that immediately gives a sense of luxury when held in the hand. The Illusione perfume caps are inspired by Bakelite, so the bottles are decorated with a circular cap open in the middle.

In June 2018, a new designer, Daniel Lee, who was considered one of the most talented of the time, joined the brand. Less than a year later, in 2019, the Italian fashion house was nominated for four awards at the British Fashion Awards and won them all, including Brand of the Year and Accessory Designer of the Year. His first fragrance creation for the fashion house was Illusione, a limited-edition fragrance pair that embodied sophistication and minimalism, which was launched in autumn 2021.
